75 Years of passion for flavor
It was 1946 when Gottfried Roner set up his first still in the family home and started distilling spirits. After early successes producing grappa, Gottfried, who was enthusiastic about his country and its fruits, decided to expand his operations. By macerating roots and berries from the surrounding forests, as was already the custom, he began to make time-honored products such as gentian, juniper and blueberry liqueur. These products are still among the most popular produced by our distillery today.
The Roner distillery welcomes the South Tyrolean Jazz Festival. Luciano Biondini plays - accordion solo, he is an outstanding accordionist in the international jazz panorama.

At the South Tyrol Jazz Festival Alto Adige, soloists and ensembles not only venture to dizzying musical "heights", but also climb with their instruments in the luggage, even "real" mountains and thereby show a breathtaking alpine landscape. The festival itself often breaks new ground: self-confidently and sometimes groping its way over craggy crevices, it attempts to penetrate new soundscapes. Mainstream and concert halls are threatened with extinction at the South Tyrol Jazz Festival Alto Adige. Through contrasts and fusions of extraordinary concert venues and new worlds of sound, organizers and artists are looking for the unknown, the unheard, the unexpected.
Luciano Biondini Solo
He has perfected the creative use of his instrument: Luciano Biondini, born in Spoleto in 1971, began playing the accordion at the age of ten and turned to jazz in 1994 after winning numerous competitions. The program of this concert includes own works, improvisations as well as pieces from the Italian and Argentinian repertoire.
